Every Little Helps
Just checked my Google Adsense account for RoomEasy and have been doing some analysis and predictions.
Whilst I’d have been very happy with my ad revenue increasing by ten or twenty percent each month, July’s revenue was nearly treble June’s! (275%) Granted, I have only had my Google advertising running for two months and as such haven’t much data from which to predict with, but, and this is the good bit, RoomEasy has only been running for two months as well, so there is a huge growth potential. Maintaining a near trebling for the next few months or so wouldn’t be an unrealistic expectation.
So here’s the plan: Google will index more of my pages (currently standing at 9920 and counting) which means more search results are possible, more visitors, more ad clicks and therefore more revenue. Fingers crossed, I should get my first payment in late September (approx £50) and thereafter more payments monthly.
I’m therefore predicting about £90 in October, £245 in November and, assuming my monthly multiple of 2.75 holds out until Christmas, about £670 at the end of December. That’ll be fine. I can live on that per month. If my ad revenue stayed at that with only a few hours work a month from me to sustain it, then that would be just great. I’d be supporting myself again – a huge plus for my self-esteem – and could start paying back the debt I have accrued over the last couple of years because of not being able to earn a living.
Oh, and now you’ve finished reading today’s post, as they say at that profoundly profitable supermarket, every little helps!
