I was fortunate to have a meeting with professional director, John Burgess at the National today, spending an hour discussing the art of the playwright; a masterclass - I was hanging on every word.

This was part of the selection process for the Nuffield Theatre Writers’ Group ; a two year play writing course beginning in January for which I have applied.

I came away inspired, complete with a list of twenty contemporary playwrights that was suggested I read and learn from.
