I’ve been using two very useful and simple Google tools for a while now and thought you may find them helpful too.

1: Define
If ever you want a definition of a particular word or phrase simply type define: followed by the word of phrase in the Google search box. ie: define:foster. The returned results page is just a list of the various definitions as well as other helpful references for the word/phrase.

2: Calculator
Did you you know you can use Google as a calculator? Simply type the expression, ie: 256+34 or even 17% of 241, into the search box and Google will give you the answer.
